WHAT IS THE CORE RECONNECT CLASS?

Welcome to our transformative program, crafted around the innovative Reconnect methodology. In just 55 minutes, we guide you through a comprehensive journey, teaching the art of reconnecting with your deep core and pelvic floor. Whether in daily activities or exercise, master the essential positions and movements that define your day. This targeted rehabilitation core workout not only addresses but prevents a spectrum of concerns including pelvic pain, back pain, hip pain, bladder and bowel leakage, and prolapse.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND CLASS?

Our program is designed for individuals seeking to reignite their connection with their core and pelvic floor. If you feel a sense of disconnection or are not effectively utilizing your core, this program is tailored for you.

 

It caters to those experiencing or with a history of:

  • Pelvic pain

  • Back pain

  • Hip pain

  • Issues related to bladder and bowel leakage

  • Prolapse

 

Whether you're looking to address existing concerns or proactively enhance your core strength, our program is a comprehensive solution crafted to meet your unique needs.

CLASS STRUCTURE

  • Level 1 Focus:

    • Postures and exercises in the following positions

      • Standing 

      • Quadruped (hands and knees)

      • Sitting

      • Supine (lying face up)

      • Prone (lying face down)

      • Side Lying

      • Plank variations

      • Squatting

      • Hip hinge (Deadlift, RDL, etc)

  • Level 2 Focus:

    • Postures and exercises in the following positions

      • Split Supine

      • Split Prone

      • Half Kneeling

      • Split Squat

      • Split Standing

      • Single leg balance

  • Level 3 Focus:

    • Postures and exercises in the following positions

      • Inversions

      • Rotation/Twist

      • Lateral bending

      • Back Bends/Extension

      • Spinal flexion

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if I have to miss a class?

Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance, and we'll provide you with a recording of the class for you to follow in the comfort of your home.

Are all the classes per level (Ex: Level 1) the same?

No, each class within a four week cycle is different. 

Can I cancel and get a refund on my 4 week core class once I have paid?

After payment collection, class fees are non-refundable. In exceptional situations, we can issue a credit to your account for use in future classes.

What do I bring to class?

Please bring a yoga mat, towel, and water for the best experience!

What should I wear to class?

Exercise attire.

Can I use my HSA/FSA card to pay for the class?

Yes

Can I bring a friend to class? 

Friends are welcome to attend one trial class for $35. If you'd like to bring a friend, please let us know via call/text, and they are welcome if there is space in the class. Your friend will also need to fill out a waiver before participating. If they decide to continue with more classes after the trial, they will need to undergo an evaluation to qualify for the series. The $35 fee will be credited towards their initial evaluation.

Can I join the class in the middle of a series?

If there are openings, yes!  You would just finish up your 4 weeks cycle with the following cohort.

Do I have to take Level 1 before I advance to Level 2?

Yes, as level one establishes the groundwork for level two.

Can I retake a level?

Absolutely, we encourage individuals to repeat a series until they feel confident before progressing to a more advanced level. Additionally, we recommend incorporating these core reconnect classes into your routine for maintaining core strength, complementing other exercises you engage in outside of the class.

About The Class

The Reconnect Method

The class is based on the Reconnect Methodology which walks you through connecting to all components of the deep core system in all major positions we get into as humans.  The first half of the class has you connecting to your deep core in non moving poses so you can gain greater body awareness around the pose and your deep core connection.  The last half of the class is a workout that integrates the poses and deep core connection you learned from the first half.  Not only do you get your core rehab in BUT get a great workout and better grasp on how to move when you apply this knowledge outside of class.

Step 2: Co-Evaluation

  • We get to see where you are at and what is missing from your core connection to set you up for success in the class

Step 3: Core Reconnect Group Rehab Class

  • 4-6 people per class

  • Taught by Core Reconnect Expert(one of the doctors)

  • Core/Pelvic Floor Rehab + Workout!
